We have booked rooms for all participants in the 「Vladivostok」 hotel to ensure accommodation. Please feel free to look for alternatives on the sites of these and other hotels indicated below. If you choose something specific, do not hesitate to ask organizing committee for any help in booking. Middle-priced hotels within 5 minutes walk from 「Vladivostok」: l 「Amursky Zaliv (Amur Bay)」 is another building of the 「Vladivostok」's owner. Although its good rooms are a little bit more expensive than in Vladivostok, it is simpler in overall impression. Organizing committee will contact all the participants with personal e-mail letters to discuss the question of accommodation. Currency and banking Euro, US dollars and Russian roubles can be obtained from ATMs with Visa, EuroCard/MasterCard, Maestro Cirrus and other popular credit cards. ATMs can be found in many places. In Vladivostok banks you can also obtain US dollar, Euro or Russian roubles with American Express, Visa, EuroCard/MasterCard at the current exchange rate. Brokerage is from 1% to 5% depending on the face value of the cheque. Banks are usually open from Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:00.You can exchange cash for Russian roubles in banks and at exchange offices. Public transport There are public buses which you can use to get from Railway station (down the Morskaja Pervaja street from the hotels) to the Far-Eastern National University and backwards. You can take busses of the lines 7б, 7т, 59, 60, and 81. The fare makes 11 Rbl. Planning your free time, take in to account that there are buses number 54 and 55 which you can use to get to the Center of the city from the University and back. A Google-map.
